Please check your Microsoft product version numbers. We highly recommend maintaining versions that are both in Active Support and Security Support. Versions installed that are no longer in Active Support will not receive support from Microsoft or Smart Guys Computers. Versions no longer in Security Support are vulnerable to viruses, ransomware, and other malware regardless of preventative software that has been installed. Smart Guys Computers recommends Microsoft 365 and Windows 11 and a paid malwae prevention program such as Malwarebytes or BitDefender. Be aware there are numerous websites selling counterfeit versions of Windows and Office at prices 90% or more off of our wholesale cost. These versions may have had the code altered to penetrate a system at a later date. If you receive a call from anyone claiming to be from Microsoft and wanting remote access to your devices, please hangup and call us. Before you call a number that pops up a warning on your screen–CALL US. In almost every case these numbers are fraudulent.
